Variadic Functions
A variadic function is a function which accepts a variable number of arguments.
It can be used when the number of input params are unknown.
The code: getNames.go
As we can see the variadic func (getNames() accepts variable number of input values — zero or more. Ellipsis (three-dots) prefix in front of an input type makes a func variadic.
Actually, the fmt.Println() itself is one of the GoLang's variadic functions:
func Println(a ...interface{})
With the following:
fmt.Println("hello", "world")
fmt.Println("hello")
fmt.Println()
the Println() outputs:
hello world hello
Here is another example of the variadic function taking integers, sum(numbers...int):
