Subdomain setting on Route53
Here is the screen shot:
Server configuration - nginx virtual hosts
First, we need to create another configuration:
$ ls /etc/nginx/sites-available demo.epicmath.com epicmath.com
Each file looks like as below.
epicmath.com:
server { listen 80 default_server; listen [::]:80 default_server ipv6only=on; root /home/ubuntu/epicmath/app; index index.html index.htm; server_name epicmath.com; location / { try_files $uri $uri/ =404; } }
demo.epicmath.com:
server { listen 80; listen [::]:80; root /var/www/laravel/public; index index.php index.html index.htm; server_name demo.epicmath.com; location / { try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$query_string; } location ~ \.php$ { try_files $uri /index.php =404; fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$; fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock; fastcgi_index index.php; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name; include fastcgi_params; } }
Setup the link:
$ sudo ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/demo.epicmath.com /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/demo.epicmath.com
Let's check the link:
$ ls -la /etc/nginx/sites-enabled lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 44 Feb 13 17:59 demo.epicmath.com -> /etc/nginx/sites-available/demo.epicmath.com lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 Jan 20 18:34 epicmath.com -> /etc/nginx/sites-available/epicmath.com
